Originating from the unassuming suburban households of Perth, Australia, the lo fi, contemporary new wave sounds of Dead Tooth Hottie appeared on the scene in 2021. Following their DIY, punk and groove debut singles Receiving is Believing, and Situations, DTH have now teamed up with Australian indie label Igloo Records (Turnstyle, Lonesome Dove) to bring you their first self titled 7" vinyl single.
Featuring two new tracks, Back in Time and Mall Grabbing, you can expect consistent dance drum machine beats, eerie synth sounds, hazy vocals, 80s Aus Rock - inspired guitar licks, and a hard bassline holding it down. Dead Tooth Hottie are Mark Tabone, Blair Pasco, and Marcy D'Souza. The three have drawn from their roots in rock genres, embraced their love of dancey pop, swapped their original instruments of choice and resurfaced with some catchy experimental art-rock that won’t leave your brain.
lyrics
You come back in time for me (x3)
I still love you
We can get it back alright
Promise not to fuss n fight
You come back in time for me
I still love you
Good luck
Trying to make it work
Good luck
Returning to a jerk
Good luck
Have to say your prayers
You got happy happy merry merry lies
You come back in time for me
I still love you
We can get it back alright
Promise not to fuss n fight
You come back in time for me
I still love you
